Recently, I’ve been obsessively farming testnet points, and it’s gotten a bit addictive. Originally, I said it was just to practice, but as soon as I saw the leaderboard, I started to hype myself up: am I missing out if I don’t do it… Honestly, at this point, I just need to “stop.”

Stop: limit yourself to a few runs per day, don’t go over;
Pause and watch: don’t get anxious when others post their progress;
Stop farming: don’t keep clicking the faucet in the middle of the night.

Especially these past couple of days, with cross-chain bridges malfunctioning and oracle prices acting up, everyone in the group is just “waiting for confirmation,” and I actually think that’s pretty right. Testnets are the same—rules can change at any time, points might be reset, and the more you expect, the easier it is to mess up.
My stop-loss is: any activity that involves cross-chain transfers, too many permissions, or contracts I haven’t reviewed for past incidents, I’ll stop immediately. Better to go slow than gamble with luck.
