These days I’ve seen everyone arguing about whether secondary royalties should be mandatory or not.
Honestly, I’m also conflicted: creators definitely deserve to earn, but embedding it directly into transactions sometimes feels like adding an “invisible Gas fee” every time it changes hands.
When the fee is high, I just don’t want to move it… As a result, the most hurt are liquidity and ordinary buyers.
Social mining, fan tokens, that “attention equals mining” concept also feels similar.
When it’s hot, everyone’s mining; when it cools down, everyone disperses, leaving creators to deal with their emotions and the market themselves.
I need to be reminded: what I’m buying are the作品/relationships, not “the certainty that someone will take over later.”
Anyway, I now prefer to take the route of saving on transaction fees: less reckless trading, more observation.
If I really like something, I’ll support it directly.
Don’t expect every transfer to go smoothly.
