Recently, someone asked me again whether stablecoins will lose their peg.

Honestly, it’s not really about who’s stubborn, but about reserve transparency and whether everyone will panic together.
Usually, they’re used as a cash substitute, so when used, it’s seamless; once rumors start spreading that “there might be a problem,” the bank run psychology spreads faster than on-chain data…
My current approach is pretty simple: don’t put all your “cash” in the same pot, rebalance when the ratio gets out of whack, to avoid panic-driven decisions.
Recently, some regions are tightening and relaxing regulations on taxes and compliance, causing expectations for inflows and outflows to shift, making emotional reactions more likely to cascade.
Anyway, don’t be too hard on yourself. I still believe in transparency, but I also don’t dare to rely solely on faith to withstand volatility.
