Just now, I got the itch again and wanted to chase a position, paused for two minutes and asked myself: am I reacting to new information, or is my emotions being pulled by the K-line? Honestly, most of the time it's the latter... Especially when the funding rate is extreme, the group starts arguing whether it's a reversal or just more bubble squeezing. The more they argue, the less confident I am to add. My basic rule is still the same: if the funding rate or the basis between futures and spot feels uncomfortable, I hold back, preferring to miss out rather than get caught up. Just treat it as a “backup” for myself: follow the main account plan, put the impulsive move aside first, and decide whether to resume once I’m calm. That’s it for now.
