Are you keeping up with the crypto market? Then you've probably already noticed that there's much more happening beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. At the beginning of 2024, I started researching promising cryptocurrencies that had a more affordable price, you know that feeling that it could explode in value? After observing trends and talking with other investors, I made a list of eight coins that really caught my attention.

First, the secret to finding a promising cheap crypto is simple: look for new projects or those that haven't yet exploded in popularity. Bitcoin started being traded for pizza, now it's at $77,000. The same logic can apply to other coins if you know how to choose.

Cardano (ADA) is on my list because the project is solid, created by people who have worked on Ethereum. It's currently valued at $0.25, very accessible. Stellar Lumens (XLM) is another I like, focused on international transfers and at $0.14. Polygon (MATIC) is interesting if you want something linked to Ethereum but with lower fees, at $0.18. Algorand (ALGO) caught my attention because it became the official blockchain of the World Cup, an unusual thing but it shows growth, also at $0.25.

Polkadot (DOT) is like a direct competitor to Ethereum, with many developers working on it, valued higher but still considered promising for 2024 and beyond. dYdX (DYDX) is a DeFi protocol trading at $0.15 and shows a lot of potential. Uniswap (UNI) is well known in the crypto space, a decentralized exchange, now at $3.61. And there's Chiliz (CHZ), which is a bit niche, focused on sports fan tokens, but it's growing, at $0.05.

Now, about Bitcoin, even though it's not cheap, it's worth paying attention because 2024 is a halving year and people are betting heavily. It's at $77,000 and some believe it will explode in the near future.

But look, there's something important here: this is not investment advice, it's just what I'm following. Every crypto investment carries risk, it's not magic. There are many scams out there offering guaranteed returns, so be careful. The good thing about buying cheaper promising cryptos is that you don't need a lot of money to start, you can accumulate little by little and watch it grow.

What I do is study a lot, follow news, look at the project's history, who is behind it. It's not something that yields quickly, but if you have patience and choose wisely, it can be a good way to diversify. There are many promising cryptos out there waiting for those who want to enter the game safely and with knowledge.
