Nasdaq and S&P 500 indices hit new highs again; Nvidia, Google, and Apple all reached new highs

Golden Finance reports that on May 14, the three major U.S. stock indices closed with mixed results. The Nasdaq rose 1.2%, the S&P 500 rose 0.58%, and the Dow fell 0.14%. Among them, the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 set new highs again. Most large-cap technology stocks rose: Google rose nearly 4%, Meta, Tesla, and Nvidia rose more than 2%, Apple and Amazon rose more than 1%, and Microsoft and Netflix fell slightly. Notably, Nvidia, Google, and Apple—among the top three globally listed companies by market value—each hit record highs. Ford Motor’s share price closed up 13%, the largest gain since 2020.
