Wow, guys. I just looked at the updated data on global wealth, and something unreal is happening there. If at the beginning of the year there was already crazy concentration of money in the hands of tech magnates, by spring the picture only worsened. The fortunes of the top 10 people are growing as if we live in a completely different reality.

The richest person on earth is still Elon Musk, and his lead is simply astronomical. When I see the figure of 726 billion, honestly, it's hard to even imagine such scale. For comparison: that's more than the GDP of many countries. SpaceX, Starlink, Tesla plus his influence in AI — it's a combo that, apparently, creates money out of thin air. No one in history has had such personal wealth. Just a fact.

Next are people from Google and Amazon. Larry Page holds second place with 270 billion, Bezos is slightly behind in third with 255 billion. Both benefit from the rise in value of artificial intelligence and cloud technologies. AWS, Alphabet — these companies are printing money.

Overall, if you look at the entire list, the richest person on earth is not just Musk, he’s a symbol of how the tech sector has completely reshaped global wealth distribution. Almost all in the top 10 are from IT and innovation. Even Warren Buffett, the investment legend, is in tenth place with 151 billion. Times are changing.

What’s happening here? First, AI and cloud computing are growing exponentially. Second, space technologies and semiconductors have skyrocketed in value. Third, American tech companies are dominating globally like never before. And fourth, those who invested early in the right technologies and held onto their shares are now billionaires. It’s simple math.

The richest person on earth shows where big money is flowing in 2026. And the answer is very clear: into technology, innovation, and AI. Other sectors look like dwarfs next to them. It will be interesting to see how this looks in a year or two if the trend continues.
