ME News Report, May 13 (UTC+8), according to Transit Finance announcement, the project recently experienced a security incident caused by a historical vulnerability in an older version of the smart contract deployed on TRON early on and deprecated in 2022. The vulnerability was exploited, affecting a small number of users. The team stated that after discovering the issue, they quickly completed investigation, isolation, and repair, and on May 12 conducted further audits and rectifications. The current contract version in use has not been affected, has been operating safely for over four years, and continues to undergo security audits and monitoring. Transit stated that affected users will receive full compensation, with specific plans to be announced through official channels, and reminded users to beware of fake official messages and not to disclose private keys or seed phrases.
