Just came across John Squire's breakdown of XRP holder distribution, and it's actually pretty eye-opening how concentrated the holdings are. The data shows what it really takes to rank among top XRP holders by percentage.

So here's what caught my attention: you only need 50,637 XRP to crack the top 1%, and just 2,486 XRP gets you into the top 10%. Even more interesting, the top 0.1% threshold sits at 369,080 XRP. The concentration is real - the top 0.01% are sitting on at least 5.7 million XRP each.

What's wild is how accessible these positions actually are compared to what most people think. A few community members were pointing out that even moderate holdings can put you way ahead of the majority. One trader mentioned that the real value isn't just about percentage rankings but about owning a piece of what could be foundational infrastructure for global settlement.

The asymmetry here is interesting - early positioning doesn't necessarily require massive capital. For anyone tracking XRP's potential role in cross-border flows, these numbers show you don't need to be a whale to have meaningful exposure. Even smaller allocations carry weight when the base is this distributed.
