I used a total asset of $16 to try out "Fast Trading," here are some real feelings
To be honest, I am a newcomer to Polymarket, with total assets only $16.07, and holdings just $4.14, the remaining $11.93 kept in cash untouched. After updating to the new version of the app today, I tried a short-term Bitcoin prediction, paying special attention to a few details:
The first is the order placement speed. From clicking "Buy" to seeing the position appear, it felt at least twice as fast as the old version. Previously, sometimes it would spin for a long time and tell you "Trade Failed," but I didn't encounter this situation this time.
The second is the display on the position page. Now, holding, orders, history, and settings are four tabs that switch smoothly, and profit/loss data is clear at a glance. My $4.14 position shows a current value of $4.14, with a profit of $0. Although I didn't make money, at least the interface is so clear that I gave up immediately.
The third is the "One-Click Follow Top Traders' Positions" feature. Honestly, I haven't started copying yet, but I took a quick look around to see what directions the top traders are betting on. This kind of feature is quite friendly to beginners, providing a reference point rather than blindly guessing.
Overall, the experience is a step up in smoothness and interaction details. Of course, my principal is small, so the experience might not be fully comprehensive, but for this $16 amount, I think the new version has achieved one thing — making me willing to open the app a few more times to browse other markets.
