Just realized a lot of people are still confused about how Pi Network's KYC process actually works. Let me break down what I've learned about this verification system.

So basically, Pi uses KYC to confirm you're actually you before you can move or withdraw your mined coins. It's pretty straightforward - they need your legal name, a government ID, and a live selfie to match everything up. Sounds simple enough, but there are definitely some things worth knowing.

First thing: Pi Network rolls out KYC access in waves, not all at once. You'll get a notification in the app saying you're selected. If you haven't seen it yet, keep checking the Mainnet Checklist section. When you do get the invite, you'll need to use the Pi Browser to access the KYC app.

Here's what I'd recommend before you start the pi kyc verification. Get your documents ready - passport, CNIC, driving license, whatever government ID you have. The key thing is making sure the name on it matches exactly with your Pi account name. I've seen people get stuck because of minor spelling differences. Also check that your ID isn't expired and the photo is actually clear.

When you're filling in your details, be super careful with spelling. Full legal name, date of birth, country, ID number - everything needs to match perfectly. Then you'll upload clear photos of both sides of your ID. No glare, no blur. The facial recognition part is pretty straightforward too - take a live selfie in good lighting, follow the prompts (look left, right, blink), and you're done.

Once you submit, it goes through both AI and human verification. The pi kyc approval can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple days. You'll get notified in the app when it's approved. After that, your mined Pi becomes eligible for Mainnet transfer, which is basically the whole point of going through this process.

The verification system isn't complicated, but attention to detail really matters. People rush through and then wonder why they get rejected. Take your time with it.
