Recently, I found that people are really unreasonable: when I make a small profit, I can calmly binge-watch shows; when I suffer a small loss, it’s like a clock is stuffed inside my pillow, clearly just not selling, but my mind automatically treats "possibly losing more" as already happening. To put it simply, the pain of losing a dollar is sharper than the joy of earning a dollar. Before bed, I keep replaying "should I cut my losses," the more I think about it, the more anxious I get... Conversely, when I make a small profit, I think "I can wait a bit longer." These days, watching Layer2 teams argue over TPS, fees, and subsidies, it’s pretty much the same: winning is taken for granted, losing makes you rush to prove you didn’t lose. Anyway, my current trick is: don’t look at my positions before bed, avoid overloading my brain, and just toast some bread in the morning.
