This morning, I was scrolling through the chain and got bombarded with a bunch of buzzwords: data availability, ordering, finality… Actually, you just need to focus on one main thread: whether what you broadcast can be “seen,” what order it gets “counted” in, and whether it ultimately “counts” for real. If you can’t see it = you’re left staring blankly. If the ordering is messy = the same transaction can end up making very different differences depending on when it’s accounted for. If it doesn’t count = you think you’re safe, but it’s still on the way.

Recently, new L1/L2 projects have been using incentives to pull TVL, so it’s normal that old users complain about “mining, selling, and dumping.” Basically, everyone is just betting on whether these three things are actually reliable. Anyway, for now I’ll first look at the flow of big cross-chain/bridge transfers, and then decide whether to take this bite. That’s all for now.
