Don't remind me again today

Recently, the South Korean security team Genians revealed something quite alarming: the infamous KON hacker group (yes, the one associated with Kimsuky, APT37 and the likes) is up to something again.

They played quite dirty this time—disguising themselves as psychological counselors or human rights activists, specifically targeting victims on KakaoTalk. They recommend a so-called "stress relief artifact," but it's actually a Trojan program. Once you install it on your phone, they can use the remote locating feature from Google Find Hub to wipe all the data on your Android device.

If you often use mobile wallets or have stored sensitive information on your phone, you really need to be cautious. These days, it's best to avoid recommendations from unknown sources on social media.
