Odaily News A British man, Kai West, has been charged for operating under the alias "IntelBroker" on a cybercrime forum and was prosecuted for allegedly selling stolen data, resulting in over $25 million in losses, as announced by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. According to information disclosed in the indictment, an undercover law enforcement officer sent a private message to "IntelBroker" to purchase the data of a victim for $250 worth of Bitcoin (BTC). The counterpart provided an Address belonging to West, and after the payment was completed, the data was delivered, which allegedly included three administrator-level usernames and passwords. He was subsequently arrested in France in February of this year, and the U.S. is currently seeking to extradite him. (Cointelegraph)
