IMF World Economic Outlook Report: Global inflation is expected to reach 4.3% in 2025, and the depreciation of the US dollar is orderly.

The IMF World Economic Outlook report pointed out that global inflation is expected to reach 4.3% in 2025 and 3.6% in 2026, and inflation expectations in advanced economies will be significantly raised. Headline inflation in the U.S. will rise "sharply" by 1 percentage point, and it's not all due to tariffs. The depreciation of the dollar was orderly and did not cause fragmentation or turmoil in the currency market. The Fed will have to be "very vigilant" about the impact of unanchored inflation expectations on wages. (Golden Ten)
