According to ChainCatcher, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission canceled a scheduled meeting on Friday that was intended to advance crypto regulations and disclose delayed innovation exemptions. The meeting was set to discuss the Reg Crypto proposal, which covers how companies can conduct token offerings and eventually exit SEC oversight after issuing digital assets. The SEC had also planned to disclose at least part of its innovation exemption framework for security token issuers. Both initiatives have been postponed.
