According to Reuters and Genians, North Korea's Kimsuky hacker group has recently deployed local AI tools including Ollama, GPT4All, and Msty, alongside retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology, AI agent frameworks, speech-to-text software, and coding assistant Cursor. The group is processing sensitive documents locally to avoid transmitting data to external AI services. Kimsuky is integrating these AI models into malware development, data analysis, and attack automation to enhance cyberattack capabilities.
