Gallant and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have instructed Israeli ground and air forces to prioritize the protection of Israeli troops currently deployed in Lebanon.

Israeli forces plan to demolish houses in villages near the Israel-Lebanon border, which the military considers forward positions of Hezbollah and potential security threats to Israeli communities.
