Crypto Market Sees $257M in Liquidations in 24 Hours, Long Positions Hit Hardest

Gate News message, April 15 — The cryptocurrency market recorded $257 million in total liquidations over the past 24 hours, with long positions accounting for $163 million and short positions for $93.82 million, according to CoinGlass data.

Bitcoin liquidations reached $55.59 million, while Ethereum saw $43.59 million in liquidations. A total of 129,536 traders were liquidated during the period.

The largest single liquidation occurred on Hyperliquid's XYZ:CL-USD trading pair, worth $6.90 million.
