According to PANews, on August 8, BitMart founder Sheldon addressed concerns about user withdrawal difficulties following the platform's shutdown, stating the exchange will not flee and is conducting asset inventory and system maintenance. Sheldon dismissed rumors and unverified claims from alleged former and current employees as unreliable.

The founder added that the core team aims for an orderly withdrawal process and has considered involving courts and third-party audit firms to provide transparent reports, denying any asset misappropriation or premature withdrawal operations.
