According to Odaily and Bitcoin.com News, the BIP-110 fork separated from Bitcoin on August 8 at block height 961632 and has produced only 4 blocks in 7 days, with the Roughnecks mining pool accounting for all mined blocks. The fork chain remains at block height 961635. Supporters plan to switch the proof-of-work hash function from SHA-256 to Blake2b as early as September, requiring updates to block header verification and mining pool, wallet, and indexing tools. The fork coin lacks exchange listings and has no market price. Over 400,000 transactions await confirmation on chain; due to missing replay protection, many were sent unintentionally by users. Tokens mined by Roughnecks require 100 confirmations before use.
