Gate News message, April 19 — Marc Zeller, a core member of Aave, announced on X that he has initiated a proposal to end the Aave-Chan Initiative (ACI) Frontier project. Zeller stated he will exit all validator roles and provide all ETH to Aave DAO to potentially protect wETH depositors, while relinquishing all potential income associated with the service to minimize potential impact on users.
Zeller has been one of the most active figures in the Aave ecosystem, helping shape incentive mechanisms through ACI. He previously announced plans to exit Aave in July. Over the past years, Zeller has operated Ethereum staking nodes on behalf of Aave DAO.
