Astar Network announces the Evolution Phase 2 roadmap: the total supply cap is approximately 10.5 billion tokens.
Deep Tide TechFlow News, November 12th, Astar Network today released a roadmap for Evolution Phase 2, focusing on five core initiatives: the Burndrop voluntary destruction mechanism, Tokenomics 3.0 with a fixed supply cap, the Startale super wallet, Plaza cross-chain interoperability integration, and community participation programs.
The Burndrop proof of concept will launch by the end of 2025, allowing users to voluntarily destroy ASTR in exchange for future ecosystem tokens; Tokenomics 3.0 plans to cap the total supply of ASTR at approximately 10.5 billion tokens, expected to be implemented in early 2026; the Startale App will serve as a unified gateway connecting the Astar and Soneium ecosystems; and Plaza integration will expand ASTR’s use cases within the Polkadot ecosystem.
Astar founder Sota Watanabe stated, “Phase 2 focuses on building a sustainable structure, with each step strengthening Astar’s collective future.” These initiatives mark Astar’s transition from the preparation phase to the execution phase, dedicated to creating a leaner, fairer, and more independent network ecosystem.
