According to BeInCrypto, XRP traded at $1.009 on Thursday, holding near the dollar mark since the Senate postponed its CLARITY Act vote and entered recess. The bill would codify XRP's legal status in federal law, with the next legislative window opening when senators return in September.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is not waiting. It will hold its first Innovation Advisory Committee meeting on August 20 in Washington, with the opening session titled "Crypto's Regulatory Evolution: From Uncertainty to Clarity." Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse sits on the committee alongside executives from Coinbase, Nasdaq, and CME Group.
