The U.S. Producer Price Index (PPI) data for July was released today (August 13). The Core PPI increased 0.2% month-over-month, below the expected 0.3%, while the annual core PPI came in at 4.2%, matching expectations. The headline PPI rose 0.0% monthly, below the forecast of 0.2%, and the annual PPI stood at 4.7%, lower than the expected 4.9%. Lower-than-expected figures may suggest easing inflationary pressures.
