According to Guru Club, OpenAI announced on Thursday (August 13) that Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser will depart the company after less than a year in the role to pursue other opportunities. She will be replaced by Dali Rajic, president and chief operating officer of Alphabet's cybersecurity subsidiary Wiz.
This marks the second major executive departure within days, as Brad Lightcap, who held the role for eight years, announced his resignation earlier this week to launch a startup. The moves occur as OpenAI prepares for its initial public offering amid intensifying competition with Anthropic. OpenAI revealed that its annualized revenue grew over 20% in July compared to June, with enterprise customer business expanding 32%.
