According to Saba News Agency, Houthi forces attacked Saudi Arabia's Aramco refinery in Jizan using two drones on August 13, striking the facility in what the military source described as a precise hit. The attack was characterized as retaliation for alleged Saudi violations of Yemeni airspace and sovereignty in Saada and Hada provinces.
In response, Saudi forces deployed artillery units to strike northern Yemen near the border area of Gamer in Saada province, according to Iran's IRIB state broadcaster and Saba News Agency. The Jizan refinery, located approximately 60 kilometers from the Yemen border, has a daily processing capacity of 400,000 barrels of crude oil and serves as a key Houthi target.
