Goldman Sachs has agreed to acquire NEOS Investments for up to $2.25 billion, bringing $30 billion in assets across 19 exchange-traded funds into Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to regulatory approval.

The acquisition includes the Bitcoin High Income ETF (BTCI), which held approximately $1.1 billion in net assets as of late July and combines Bitcoin exposure through exchange-traded products with options strategies for monthly income. Goldman will also acquire the Boosted Bitcoin High Income ETF (XBCI) with over $103 million in net assets, and the Ethereum High Income ETF (NEHI) with about $75 million, according to NEOS' data.
