Crypto Market Records $238M in Liquidations Over Past 24 Hours, With Long Positions Hit Hardest

According to Coinglass data cited by ChainCatcher, the crypto market recorded $238 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, with long positions accounting for $131 million and short positions $108 million. Bitcoin long liquidations totaled $41.75 million, while short liquidations were $7.37 million; Ethereum saw $24.99 million in long liquidations and $8.65 million in short liquidations.

Over the same period, 80,126 traders were liquidated, with the largest single liquidation order occurring on Bybit for Bitcoin, valued at $1.989 million.
