The Enso protocol executes user intents through a structured pipeline:

Users submit their high-level goals to the network without specifying implementation details.
2.Action Contribution
Action providers publish reusable smart contract abstractions that define individual operations, such as token swaps or deposits.
3.Pathfinding
Pathfinders analyze network state and assemble actions into executable bytecode, selecting the most efficient route.
4.Validation
Validators simulate the bytecode on a forked chain to ensure correctness and security.
5.Solution Selection
The network compares all valid execution paths, choosing the most cost-efficient and fastest solution while discarding others.
6.Execution
The final solution is executed on-chain. Fees are allocated via an auction mechanism to pathfinders, validators, and action providers, paid in ENSO tokens.
The ENSO token is the native asset of the Enso protocol, with a capped supply of 127,339,703 tokens and controlled inflation that ceases after ten years. It serves multiple functions:
