Gate US now supports fiat on-ramp, allowing you to purchase crypto (e.g., USDT) directly with USD via Banxa. Follow the steps below to complete your first purchase.
Step 1: Go to Buy Crypto
- Log in to your Gate US account and click Buy Crypto from the top menu.
- Enter the amount of USD you want to spend and select the crypto you wish to receive (e.g., USDT).
- Confirm the payment provider is Banxa, then click Buy USDT.
Note: The purchase amount must be between 20 and 15,000 USD.
Step 2: Accept Disclaimer and Redirect
- A disclaimer will pop up informing you that you will be redirected to Banxa.
- Click Go to BANXA to proceed.
Step 3: Create an Order on Banxa
- On the Banxa page, review the transaction details.
- Choose your payment method (Visa/Mastercard or ACH) and click Create Order.
Step 4: Verify Your Email
- Enter the 4-digit code sent to your registered email and click Verify Me.
Step 5: Identity Verification
- Select your occupation and industry from the dropdown menus.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and click Submit my details.
Step 6: Complete Your Payment
- Enter your card details (name, number, expiry date, CVV).
- Click Submit payment.
Step 7: Order Confirmation
- After payment, your order will be processed automatically.
- Check the order summary and click Return to Gate US.
Step 8: Email Notifications
You will receive confirmation emails from Banxa about:
- Payment received
- Transfer in progress
- Crypto delivered to your wallet address
Notes:
- Your billing details must match your official documents for KYC approval.
- Purchase limits apply: 20–15,000 USD per transaction.
- Banxa may charge service fees depending on the payment method.
