Recent cross-chain bridges are like narrative whirlpools: first, "someone is about to airdrop/social mine again," then a bunch of people rush in, and finally they get stuck at "waiting for confirmation"... To put it plainly, words like multi-signature and oracle sound impressive, but what I really care about is: when something goes wrong, who can press the pause button, and who will pretend to be dead. Waiting for confirmation is not metaphysics; it's about thinking clearly whether "I am now handing over my money to an uncontrolled process." The social mining slogan "attention is mining" also sounds a lot like bridge advertising slogans; the excitement is real, but on-chain rollback is truly impossible. What I fear most is not loss, but loss of control: if you lose money, you can still blame your own recklessness; losing control means there's no button to regret. That's all for now, take it slow when crossing the bridge.
