Tether's net profit in the second quarter reached 4.9 billion USD, and the USDT Circulating Supply exceeded 157 billion USD.
Techub News reports that Tether has released its attestation report for the second quarter of 2025, completed by BDO, one of the world’s top five independent accounting firms. The issuance of USDT exceeded USD 13.4 billion in the second quarter of 2025, bringing its circulating supply to over USD 157 billion (an increase of USD 20 billion year-to-date). As of the end of the second quarter of 2025, Tether’s total holdings of U.S. Treasury securities (including USD 105.5 billion in direct holdings and USD 21.3 billion in indirect holdings) surpassed USD 127 billion (an increase of approximately USD 8 billion compared to the first quarter of 2025), making it one of the largest holders of U.S. Treasuries in the world. The net profit for the second quarter of 2025 totaled approximately USD 4.9 billion, bringing the total net profit for the first half of this year to USD 5.7 billion.
